Kathaleen "Chris" Hamilton

Kathaleen “Chris” Hamilton, 65, passed away in her home Friday, May 22, 2026.

Born March 22, 1961, Chris was a lifelong member of the small Verona Community. Growing up on Stephenson Mill Road Chris also raised her own family there, all sharing a love for the small family farm life.

Chris was known for being soft-hearted with a strong spirit and a deep, sincere love for everyone around her. Always putting others first, she dedicated her life to taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Mary Merida.

Chris is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jefferson Hamiltron; her sons, Michael Hamilton and Billy Hamilton; her grandchildren, Jacob Hamilton, Kevin Hamilton, Justin Hamilton, and Jaylen Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Remington Hamilton and Riley Hamilton.

She will be remembered for her loving devotion to her family, and eagerness to offer help to whoever was in need. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
