Kathy Lynn Rife

Kathy Lynn Rife was born July 28, 1956 in Piqua, Ohio and passed away April 14, 2026 in Georgetown, Kentucky at the age of 69.  She was the daughter of Ellis Edward Huff of Verona and the late Shirley Jean Shields Huff.

Kathy was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dry Ridge.  She had many hobbies that she enjoyed including going to yard sales and collecting pottery.  When she was younger she also made and sold candles.  Kathy's greatest passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was very social and everyone loved being around her and always enjoyed her sense of humor.

On October 20, 1989, Kathy was united in marriage to Richard "Rick" Henry Rife.  In addition to her husband, Rick, she is survived by her son: Brian (Allyn) Harding of Georgetown; a daughter: Crystal Dawn Atkins of San Antonio, TX; a stepson: Benjamin Rife of Dayton; two stepdaughters: Amy Vaugh of Florence and Tiffany Kiser of Frankfort; a brother: Wayne (Sherry) Huff of Verona; three sisters: Patty (Jim) Miller of Union, Jeanne (Eugene) Stepp of Crittenden and Brenda (Jim) Hyland of Richwood; five grandchildren: Norman, Taylor, Jeremy, Luke and Ethan; six stepgrandchildren: Megan, Emily, Christian, Brandon, Natalie and Cage; and numerous great grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Lynn Harding, and two brothers, Gary Huff and Steven Huff.

A memorial visitation will be 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY  41097.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.
