She was the daughter of the late Daniel Frederick DeZarn and Beverly Smith DeZarn. She was a Jefferson County School District teacher at Kammer Middle School, Louisville, KY.
Surviving is her boy friend and life partner, Barry Holley of Louisville; mother, Beverly Smith DeZarn of Dry Ridge; brother, Daniel Frederick DeZarn, Jr. of Lexington; sister, Carole (Michael Joe) Petzenhauser of Roland, Iowa; nieces, Paige Beverly Petzenhauser and Claire Kimberly Petzenhauser; and nephew, Max Michael Petzanhauser.
A “Celebration of Kimberly’s Life” will take place on June 6, 2026, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Gather on Main, 114 N. Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097.
