Lloyd Edmond Aldridge, Jr.

April 10, 1953 — October 20, 2025

Corinth

Lloyd Edmond Aldridge, Jr., 72, of Corinth, KY, passed away on Monday October 20, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. Born on April 10, 1953 in Shelbyville, KY, he was the son of the late Lloyd Edmond and Pearl Moore Aldridge, Sr.

In August of 1986, he met a sweet young lady that captured his heart; that began a special relationship; they married and that commenced a union that lasted 34 years. His spent his entire adult life working in construction. He will be long remembered for his love for music and fast cars. Being a “front porch” dweller, he loved watching and feeding birds. Reminiscing over days gone by and traveling down “Memory Lane” led him to cruise the countryside of where he grew up; this brought him much satisfaction and fulfillment, particularly during the time of his sickness.

Survivors include his daughters: Angela Gail (Jesse Jones) Aldridge of Corinth, KY, Heather (Sam) Brewer of Georgetown, KY; two sons: Edmond Clay (Marissa) Aldridge of Bedford, KY, Shaun Dickey of Georgetown, KY and two brothers: Lenard Ayers of McKee, KY and Terry Ayres of Irvine, KY. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Kelsea Barber, Tristan Aldridge, Alyssa Dickey, Ethan Dickey, Aiden Aldridge, Bryce Dickey, Tyler Dickey, Orion Dickey, Lily Aldridge, along with two great-grandchildren: Millie Dickey and Bo Dickey.

A Celebration of Lloyd’s life and legacy will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth is honored to handle the arrangements for Mr. Aldridge.
