Lois Ann Napier

Lois Ann Napier, 87, of Dry Ridge, KY, entered her eternal home on Friday December 26, 2025 at Gallatin Health Care in Warsaw. Born on July 4, 1938 in Letcher County, KY; she was the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Annabell Holiday Napier.

On July 18, 1958 Lois was united in marriage to A. Roy Napier; he preceded her in death on May 13, 2019 after 61 years of marriage. She proved to be a faithful housewife and dedicated homemaker. As a babysitter, she was committed to the watchful responsibility of the many children she cared for over the years. Instructing her late husband in the caretaking of her flower gardening brought her much delight. She was actively involved in the ministries of Dry Ridge Baptist Church, where she served on the Kitchen Committee.

Lois is survived by her two sons: Roy Wayne “Bubby” Napier (Jennifer) of Dry Ridge, KY, Samuel Ray Napier (Melissa) of Williamstown, KY; two daughters: Annette (Jerry) Wesley of Pawley’s Island, SC, Joyce (Bryan Miles) Hicks of Williamstown, KY and one sister: Wilma Collins of Williamstown, KY. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren: Christina (Matt) Black, Austin Burke, Johnny Burke, Savannah Burke, Chastain (Moriah) Napier, Branson Napier, Ileah (Luke) Brockman, Jessica (Nick) Currier, Eric (Kelsey) Napier, Sarah (Corey) Perry, Kaylee (Luke) Jacobs, along with 10 great-grandchildren: Parker Black, Grace Black, Jeremiah Black, Devinne Burke, Addison Burke, Raegan Burke, Brantlee Currier, Riley Currier, Ozzy Perry and Valley Currier, all whom lovingly called her “Me-Maw”.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Pastor Jeff Sargent officiating. Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
