Marion “Lee” Howe, 82, of Corinth, KY, went home to be with his Savior on Friday June 13, 2025, at his residence. Born on September 18, 1942 in Boone County, KY, he was the son of the late Lon and Carrie Lee Lowrey Howe. Lee was a beloved husband, father, brother, father-n-law, grandfather and friend whose life was marked deeply by faith and a love for family.
Throughout life’s journeys, Lee’s unwavering faith in Christ was a source of comfort and strength, a faith that still holds him in the arms of his Savior. He cherished the special moments spent with his beloved wife, Linda Kay Callahan Howe, whom he married on January 27, 1975, a union that lasted 50 years. Whether it was fishing, hunting, gardening, working in his taxidermy shop, playing the guitar, singing gospel music at church, Lee’s greatest happiness was always in the presence of his family and loved ones. He built his career as a dedicated construction contractor. He was honored to serve alongside a remarkable pastor and fellow worshippers at his church, Williamstown Church of God.
Lee is survived by his devoted wife, Linda, one son: Jonathan Lee (Misty) Howe of Corinth, KY; seven daughters: Katheryn (Dale) Thomas of Dry Ridge, KY, Sheila (Roy) Miller of Owenton, KY, Donna (Scott) Porter of Loudonville, OH, Annette Howe of Loudonville, OH, Rhonda (Adam) Dailey of Georgetown, KY, Crystal (Emmanuel) Hedger of Corinth, KY, Carina Howe of Corinth, KY; two brothers: Bobby (Nancy) Howe of Crittenden, KY, Clint Howe of Boone County, KY, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Howe; a daughter, Kim Daily and her husband, John and their children.
Friends and family may gather on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at McDaniel Funeral Home – Corinth from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Pastor John Hoskins officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Skinner-Thompson Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lee’s memory directly to the family.
