Marlene Wilson Taylor Elliston, 90, of Florence, KY, formerly of Williamstown, entered into her heavenly home on Sunday July 5, 2026 at Magnolia Springs Retirement Community in Florence. Born on September 1, 1935 in the Jonesville Community of Owen County; she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel Picola Cammack Wilson.

On July 15, 1972, she was united in marriage to Harold Eugene Elliston; he preceded her in death on December 19, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Forest Durard Taylor. Many years ago she served as the Postmaster at Mason, KY Post Office and for 27 ½ years, she worked for Expanded Foods and Nutrition for Grant County Extension Services. She held membership in the Mason Homemakers, Williamstown Woman’s Club, Gideons International Auxiliary and Williamstown Baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir.

Marlene lived a life of unwavering faith, unconditional love, quiet humility and selfless service. Her gentle spirit and sweet, welcoming smile permeated every area of her everyday life; her service to humanity was a testament to her love, grace and an enduring strength that came from a steadfast faith.

Marlene will be fondly remembered her two daughters: Deborah (late Elwood, Jr.) McComas of the Holbrook Community of Grant County, Donna Meadows of Williamstown, KY and three step-daughters. Also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, too numerous to count. In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Taylor; a step-son, David Eugene Elliston and a step-daughter, Terri Lynn Elliston.
