Mary Jane Cheevers

Mary Jane Cheevers, 84, of Dry Ridge, KY, entered into her heavenly home on Sunday October 12, 2025 at her residence. Born on August 7, 1941 in Dayton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Matthew Aloysius and Audrey Amelia Cunning Cheevers.

After working as a secretary for Park Davis Pharmaceuticals for many years and being a teacher’s aide, she served as a door greeter for Wal-Mart, where she retired in 2015. She was a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church.

Mary leaves behind her two sons: Jimmy Sumpter and Paul Michael Cheevers, both of Dry Ridge; one brother: Matthew Cheevers of Texas, along with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at Dry Ridge Christian Church at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
