Mary Margaret Abercrombie Walters Mahin

Mary Margaret Abercrombie Walters Mahin was born March 6, 1936 in Falmouth, Kentucky and passed away November 7, 2025 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 89.  She was the daughter of the late Roy and Ethel McDowell Abercrombie.

Mary retired as a mailroom supervisor for Square D and then went on to work for Express Scripts.  She faithfully attended Rolling Hills Baptist Church where she was very active.  She loved spending time reading her Bible and even sang in the church choir in previous churches she attended.  One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting.

Mary is survived by her husband of 42 years, Daryl Mahin.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: Michael (Betty Jo) Walters of Williamstown; a daughter-in-law: Marcia Walters of Dry Ridge; a brother: Kenny Abercrombie of Falmouth; a sister: Kay Webster of Dry Ridge; five grandchildren: Ryan (Jana) Walters, Lacy (Terrell) Wilson, Shane Walters, Magdalene Walters and Elijah Walters; and four great grandchildren: Noah, Maylee, Laurel and Karis.

Mary was preceded in death by a son, Danny Walters, in 2021; four brothers: Glendon, Richard, Gerald Dean and Leroy; and four sisters: Gladys, Mildred, Dorothy and Marian.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Williamstown Baptist Church, 214 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY  41097.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Williamstown Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
