Melissa Ann Johnson

Melissa Ann Johnson , 57, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 2, 2025 at her Corinth, KY home.  Born on July 20, 1967 in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Jerri Lee Perrish Johnson.

Melissa was a very creative person and just getting interested in scrapbooking. For many years she served as a server at a variety of restaurants in this area.  Her life centered around her family; being “Mamaw” to her grandchildren brought her much joy and fulfillment.

She leaves behind a son, Cody (Shiv) Ascherman of Lexington, KY; two daughters: Tosha (Anthony Smith) McCarthy of Corinth, KY, Amy Ascherman of Lexington, KY; two brothers: Tim Johnson of Williamstown, KY, Mike Johnson of Corinth, KY and one sister, Kay Carrubba of Crittenden, KY, along with her seven precious grandchildren: Gage, Kailynn, Levi, Madyson, mason, Revan and Tesla and her beautiful great-grandchild, Novaleigh.

A Celebration of Melissa’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
