Ming "Joe" Zhou

Ming “Joe” Zhou, 68, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on Morning May 4, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospice – Williamstown after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic Cancer. Born July 22, 1957 in China, Jinan, he was the son of the late Xiangshu Chai and Jixun Zhou.

In 1986, Joe was united in marriage to Hong Gao; she survives. He, along with his wife, owned and operated Red Gate Properties in Dry Ridge, which consisted of Dry Ridge Motor Inn and Self Storage. Joe attended the University of Cincinnati, where he received his Master’s Degree and was a member of the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association.

In addition to his wife, Hong, he is survived by one child, Hanson Zhou from Boston, MA. All his brothers and sisters reside in China.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday May 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Richwood Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
