Misty Lenore Hale

Misty Lenore Hale, 44 of Verona, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at her residence.  Born March 19, 1977 in Tacoma, WA, she was the daughter of Susan Annette Benefield and the late Donnie Eugene Kirkland.

On June 22, 2002 in Modesto, CA, she was united in marriage to Russell J. Hale; he survives. She will long be remembered as an “amazing woman in every way”, she was a devoted housewife and mother; a huge San Francisco Giants and 49’ers fan, she loved taking pictures and roller skating but her greatest love was spending time with and loving her family.  She had a special love for her nieces and nephews. She was a 1995 graduate of Davis High School in Modesto and attended Modesto Jr. College.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Russell, include her mother: Susan Benefield and step-father, Lawrence Mackey of Modesto, CA;  two sons: Jaymee Hale and Alexzander Hale, both of Verona; three brothers: Jeremy (Krissy) Kirkland of Warsaw, Travis Mackey and Brandon Mackey, both of Modesto, CA and one sister: Latisha (Jaymee) Hale of Sanders, KY.

A “Celebration of Life" will be held on Sunday October 3, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Misty and Russell, located at 725 Valley View Drive  Verona, KY 41092.

Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home has been entrusted with Misty’s arrangements.
