Naomi Spegal Cummins

Mrs. Naomi Spegal Cummins, a Union resident and formerly of Crittenden, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Boonespring Nursing Home in Union, KY at the age of 92.  She was the widow of the late James A. Cummins.

Naomi is a retired school teacher from Kenton Co. Schools with over 19 years of service.  She was a past president of the Retired Teacher's Association. She was a former volunteer for CareNet and Hospice Grief Support, a member of the Wilmington Baptist Church, and a former employee of the Bank of Crittenden.

Mrs. Cummins was the daughter of the late Newal Spegal and Ada Culbertson.  She is survived by two daughters, Doris Workman (Ed) of Walton, KY, Fran Cummins of Orlando, FL and one grandson, Pascal Workman.  In addition to her husband James, she is preceded in death by a sister, Ora Cleveland.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 1-2pm at the Wilmington Baptist Church in Demossville, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Rev. Jerry Spegal officiating.  Burial will be in the Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Gideon's International.
