Ola Parson Baker

Ola Parson Baker, 89, of Crittenden, KY, entered into her eternal home on Saturday May 24, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care – Edgewood. Born on March 10, 1936, in Scott County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Guy William and Allie Reed Parson.

For over 65 years, Ola was married to Marvin Baker; he preceded her in death on September 24, 2020. Dedicating herself to being a committed housewife and homemaker brought her much satisfaction. Sewing and making quilts were among her greatest talents but her favorite hobby was spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom lovingly called her “Mammaw” and “Grandma”. She had a servanthood spirit because of her love for the Lord, which gave her the desire to always reach out and help anyone who may need a helping hand.

Survivors include two daughters: Deborah (Doug) Bowling of Crittenden, KY, Tammy (Dan) Campbell of Walton, KY; five grandchildren: Savannah Allen, Michael Brian Hamlin, G.W. Vance Goetz, Joshua Goetz, Taylor Rowley and eight great-grandchildren: Nash Bauchman, Leo Bauchman, Jaxon Goetz, Bentley Goetz, McKyla Goetz, Nervonna Goetz, Tate Rowley and Reed Rowley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
