Ona Elaine Collins

Ona Elaine Collins was born February 23, 1937 Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away August 12, 2025 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 88.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest Atwood and Ona Mae Cox Beach.  

Elaine was united in marriage to the love of her life, Gerald Lee Collins, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Pete.  She is survived by two daughters: Vickie Richardson (Marvin) and Shonda Hahn (Jeffrey) both of Cincinnati; two brothers: Randall and Rodney; five sisters: Greta Charlene, Brenda, Linda, Freida and Cynthia; five grandchildren: Nathan Gibbs, Russell Hahn (Patti), Renea Malloni (Robert), Bethany Ambrosious (Patrick) and Falon Richardson; six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Elaine was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Dry Ridge and a retired key punch operator for the City of Cincinnati.  One of her favorite pastimes was birdwatching.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, August 18, 2025 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 7980 Napoleon-Zion Station Rd., Dry Ridge, KY  41035.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, August 18, 2025 at Pleasant View Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
