Pamela “PJ” Parks, 75, moved to her Heavenly home on Monday February 23, 2026 in her hometown of Williamstown. “PJ”, as she was lovingly known by everyone, was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a legacy that will lead them throughout their lives.
“PJ” was born in Covington, KY on September 26, 1950 to the late Jesse James and Alberta Jean Jones Baker. On New Year’s Day in 1982 she was united in holy matrimony at First Baptist Church of Fort Thomas, to Dwight Edwin Parks; he survives. She retired in 1985 as a switchman technician for Cincinnati Bell; after retirement, she worked at Tractor Supply in Williamstown.
“PJ” will forever be remembered for her love for the Lord, whom she loved with all her heart. She was a humble, gentle-spirited lady; only heaven knows what a powerful impact she had upon all her many friends and her family. With her warm and welcoming personality, she never met a stranger. Because she loved everyone, she endeared herself to everyone and thus had a world of friends. Known as the “world traveler”, loving horses and her blue jeans, coupled with the giving of herself to so many, in so many ways, the ripple effects of her life will live for generations to come. She attended The Mount Church in Williamstown.
"PJ" leaves to carry on her legacy, three daughters: Tina (Jeff) Faul of Independence, KY, Shannon (Jozsef) Weiland of Williamstown, KY, Leah (Doug) Bennett of Corinth, KY; one brother: Jesse (Joyce) Baker of Burlington, KY; one sister: Patricia (Roger) Murray of Florida, her mother-n-law: Emma (late Edwin) Parks and a sister-n-law, Janet (late Bob) Mullikin. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren: Jozsef (Megan) Weiland, Michael Henry Parks, Christopher (Jennelline) Weiland, Daniel Weiland, D.J. (Vanessa) Bennett, Amanda (Quinton) Rayburn, Nicholas Weiland and Kody (Summer) Bennett, along with 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom passionately loved her as “Mamaw” and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Parks, a great-grandson, Corbin Eli Weiland, a brother, Henry Baker and a sister, Sandy Baker.
Visitation will be Monday March 2, 2026, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, located at 3575 Sweet Owen Road in Owenton, KY 40359, from 11:00 a.m. till the time of the funeral at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Corbin Eli Memorial Cemetery on the family farm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in “PJ’s” memory to Stanley Funeral Homes.
