Patricia Eckler Lawrence

Patricia Lee Eckler Lawrence, age 85 of Berry KY, formerly of Dry Ridge, passed away Saturday May 2nd 2026 at the home of her son. She was born in Cincinnati Ohio, on March 4th, 1941. On October 13th 1956, she married the love of her life, Alfred Lawrence. They were happily married for almost 37 years before he passed away on Feb 2nd, 1993. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma. She retired after 28 years of service as a custodian at Dry Ridge Elementary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, her parents William Henry and Rosetta Eckler, her in laws Cecil and Priscilla Gladys Lawrence, her sisters Lois Ann Smith and Ruby Faye Higgins, and her son in law Frank Monday.

She is survived by her son Alfred Wayne (Joy) Lawrence of Berry, KY, a daughter Kathy Monday of St. Bernard, OH, her sister Helen Jean King of Apple Valley, CA., and her brother in law Jim Higgins of Corinth, KY.

Her five grandkids Justin (Stephanie) Rayburn of Delavan Wisconsin, Julie Rayburn of Dry Ridge, Billy Wayne Lawrence of Dry Ridge, Priscilla (Joey) Sorenson of Williamstown, Johanna (Jamie) Goottee of Berry KY and one bonus granddaughter Michele (Chris) Neeley of St. Bernard OH.

She was also the great grandmother of 13, Sarah, Gary Wayne, EmmaLeigh, Emily Jo, Lucas, Shelby, Laurie, James, Summer, Cameron, Khloe, Alex, and Izzy.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons - Justin, Billy Wayne, Joey, Jamie, Gary Wayne, and Lucas. Honorary pallbearers are James and Cameron.

Visitation will be Friday, May 8th, 2026, from 11am-1pm at the Eckler McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, Ky. Funeral services will be at 1pm. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, Ky. Memorials are suggested to Saint Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
