Patsy Lou Baker Baum, 81, of Warsaw, KY, entered her heavenly home on Monday March 2, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood, KY. Born on November 15, 1944 in Union, KY, she was the daughter of the late Russell Lee and Martha Alice Washum Baker.
Patsy dedicated much of her adult life serving the residents of Woodspoint Nursing and Rehab in Florence and the St. Charles Community in Covington; in later years, she worked in maintenance at Boone Co. Courthouse. Strong work ethics was very much a part of her life; she enjoyed farming, raising tobacco, working in her flower garden, baking homemade goodies and watching western movies. The greatest legacy Patsy leaves is her wonderful sense of humor and the endearing love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Paint Lick Baptist Church in Warsaw.
She leaves to mourn her loss four sons: Mike Allen (Kim) of Union, KY, Jerry Lee Allen (Sheryl) of Warsaw, KY, Jesse Ray Allen (Shelli) of Burlington, KY and Daryl Wayne Owens (Laura) of Warsaw, KY; one brother, James Russell Baker (Donna) of Florence, KY, along with 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lee Baker.
In honoring Patsy’s request, private graveside services will be held at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona at the convenience of the family with Rev. Dennis Jackson officiating.
