Paula Lee Reed

Paula Lee Reed of Independence, KY was born July 2, 1949 in Covington, KY and died Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 76.

She was the daughter of the late Corbit and Reva Mae Williams Reed. She achieved her master’s degree, retired as a business administrator with the University of Cincinnati, and was a member of the Community Family Church in Independence, KY. She loved to travel and enjoyed UK Wildcats basketball.

Surviving is her husband of 23 years, Marty Jones of Independence; son, Chris Colcord of Ft. Mitchell; and sister, Venetia Reed of Independence.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona KY. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the funeral home with entombment to follow at the New Bethel Cemetery.
