Phillip Wayne Wynn, age 68, of Williamstown, Kentucky, passed away on July 23, 2026, following a long illness. Throughout his health journey, Phillip lived by the inspiring motto, “One Day At A Time.”
Born on April 28, 1958, in Frankfort, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of the late Vernon and Ora Webster Wynn.
Phillip was a devoted member of Marcus Baptist Church, where he found great comfort and community. An avid outdoorsman, he loved going fishing and deer hunting. He was also a passionate fan of NASCAR racing, but his absolute greatest joy came from spending time with his family—especially playing basketball with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sheilah Diane Smith Wynn of Williamstown, KY; his daughter, Tracy (Jason) Smith of Alexandria, KY; two sons, Eric (Deanna) Wynn and Dustin (Lindsay) Wynn, both of Williamstown, KY; a brother, Marvin Wynn of Frankfort, KY; a sister, Sylvia Devers of Frankfort, KY; and eight cherished grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Williamstown Cemetery (enter through first drive) officiated by Bro. Bruce Harrison. Phillip could always be found wearing blue jeans, t-shirt, and a hat. If you are attending his services, we ask you to dress as he would.
