Ralph Boyd Marshall

Ralph Boyd Marshall was born March 2, 1940 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away December 28, 2022 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 82.  He was the son of the late Frederick Albert and Loretta Grace Stith Marshall.

Ralph was a retired heavy equipment operator for Hemmer Construction and Foley Construction.  He was a member of Mason Baptist Church as well as a construction union in Lexington.  One of Ralph's passion was his farm.  He was a lifelong cattle and tobacco farmer.

On Sept. 29, 1958 he was united in marriage to Georgia Ann Fields Marshall who preceded him in death in 2020.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Marshall, Sr., in 2018; two brothers, Marvin and Malcolm Marshall; and a sister, Mildred McClanahan.

Ralph is survived by a daughter, Debra Johnson (Steve) of Dry Ridge, a sister, Judy Kells of Williamstown, a grandson, Jeffrey Marshall, Jr. of Williamstown, and four great grandchildren: Kyle Marshall, Jacey Marshall, Bryson Marshall and Addy Marshall.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Friday, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
