Rick A. Chowning

Rick A. Chowning of Williamstown, KY was born November 7, 1957, in Covington, KY and died Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Edgewood, KY at the age of 67 years.

He was the son of the late Larry Link Chowning and Shirley Joan Kinmon Colston. He was a retired truck driver for Grant County Foods, a US Army veteran, and a member of the Stewartsville Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to his wife Debra Lynn Larison Chowning on July 15, 1977.

Surviving is his wife, Debra Chowning of Williamstown; two sons, Shawn Alan Chowning of Falmouth and Keith Ryan Chowning of Williamstown; one grandchild, Breiana Chowning of Falmouth; and brother, Rodney (Sherry) Chowning of Crittenden.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Thursday, 12:00pm- 2:00pm at the funeral home.
