Robert Gayle Colson

Robert Gayle Colson was born June 17, 1955 in Keefer, Kentucky and passed away July 31, 2025 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 70.  He was the son of Mendola Joy Taylor Colson of Corinth and the late Jesse D. Colson, Sr.

Robert was a member of Mason Baptist Church and worked as a store clerk at the Florence Walmart.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting.

In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by four brothers: Jesse Colson, Jr. of Corinth, Terry Colson of Williamstown, Ronald Colson of Dry Ridge and Robin Colson of Corinth; and two sisters: Sharon Beach of Dry Ridge and Angie McLafferty of Dry Ridge.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery in Keefer.
