July 6, 1954 — November 19, 2025

Dry Ridge

Roger Glenn "Walker" Mullins, 71, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Born on July 6, 1954, in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late John Henry and Helen Rosella Robinson Mullins.

Upon graduation from high school, "Walker", as he was affectionately known,  attended Cumberland College, where he excelled in sports. Roger spent much of his adult life in the building, carpentry and construction field; for over 20 years, he worked with EGC Construction in Newport. Living a very productive life, he had a special appreciation for all sports, especially baseball, and a special love for music, particularly; Classic Rock. Hunting, fishing and his meticulous care for growing flowers marked some of the many qualities that made him special. No one was ever more family-oriented than "Walker"; he will long be remembered as an excellent “Papaw” and “Dad”. However, the single most distinctive attribute that truly identifies him for who he was, is the fact that he never had any “quit” in him, regardless of the circumstances and situations that life threw at him. "Walker" had a lot of friends, primarily because he knew how to be a true friend. He found much satisfaction and fulfillment from playing Fast Pitch Softball and being a member of the Winchester Men’s Traveling Fast Pitch Association.

Those left to continue his legacy is one son: Neil Edwin Mullins of Dry Ridge; two daughters: Julia Ann Kerchuval of Harrison, OH, Nicole Michelle Mullins of Dry Ridge; two brothers: Jim Mullins of Williamstown, John (Kathy) Mullins of Dry Ridge; four sisters: Judy (Gary) Knight, Glenna Jordan, Marie (Rodney) Arnold, Nancy (late Danny) Sydnor, all of Dry Ridge. Also surviving is a special friend, Lori Lomaster; the mother of his children, Margie Brooks, along with seven grandchildren: Tyler, Leah, Ethan, Addie, Karter, Charleigh and Cypress. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Mullins; one sister, Janice Dills and a nephew, Zachary Mullins.

A Celebration of "Walker’s" Life will be held on Friday December 12, 2025 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at My Ole Kentucky Barn in Williamstown, KY.
