Ronald Edward Milner

Ronald Edward Milner, 84, of Crittenden, KY, passed away on Sunday morning August 31, 2025 at his residence. Born on June 10, 1941, in Grant County, KY, he was the son of the late Denzil and Loretta Milner.

On October 29, 1979, Ronald was united in marriage to the former Marjorie Humphry; she survives. For many years he worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of Ohio Operating Engineers – Local 18 in Cincinnati. Going on family outings were always special to he and his wife. On many occasions, on the spur of the moment, they would load up and take spontaneous trip riding through the countryside.

Ronald leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 46 years, Marjorie Milner; one son: Royce Milner of Florence; one daughter: Pamela (Lanny) Dixon of Crittenden, KY; one sister: Bernice Dixon of Shelbyville, KY, along with five grandchildren: Tina Horan, Marybeth (Chris) Schutzman, Jack Robinson, Blake Dixon, Ben Milner and three great-grandchildren: Madison Schutzman, Kaelyn Schutzman and Lane Horan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a grandson: Gary Lane Robinson; four sisters: Rita Sparrow, Jean Tapp, Ruby June Milner, Laverne Callahan and two brothers: Roy Milner and Denzil Milner, Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday September 6, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at McDaniel Funeral Home – Dry Ridge. Funeral services will begin at 1:00. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery
