Rose Carol Vance

Rose Carol Vance, 80, Georgetown, KY, passed away on Sunday August 2, 2026 at her residence after an extended illness. Born on May 18, 1946 in Millstone, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Henrietta McCray Middleton.

On October 21, 1969, Rose was united in marriage to Glenn Vance; he preceded her in death on December 11, 2018. She was a graduate of Chattanooga High School in Chattanooga, TN, Rose will always be remembered as a happy person; she had a special love for flowers and dancing, but being with her family brought Rose her greatest fulfillment. For 30 years, she worked as a Social Worker for the State of Kentucky. She was actively involved in the ministries of Helping Hands and her church, Corinth Baptist Church.

Rose in survived by her two sons: Gary W. Vance of Georgetown, James Mitchell (Tasha) Vance of Cynthiana, along with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday August 6, 2026 at 2:00 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge. Private family viewing will take place at the funeral home; at 1:40, we will proceed to the cemetery.
