Ruth Ann Dressman

Ruth Ann Taylor Dressman, 79, of Florence, KY, formerly of Williamstown, died Saturday October 29, 2022 at her residence.  Born on Wednesday December 30, 1942 in Owen County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Rachel Switzer Taylor.

On September 5, 1970 she was united in marriage to Dennis Lee Dressman; he preceded her in death on September 7, 2021.  She was a devoted housewife and mother. Playing bingo was a favorite pastime; she was a graduate of Grant Co. High School and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence.

She leaves to carry on her memory, one son: James “Jim” Charles Dressman of Florence and three sisters: Charlene Weddle Ginn of Crittenden, Sue (Duane) Lawrence of Burlington and Sheila Faye (late Alvin) Taylor of Owenton. She was preceded in death by a son: Joseph Leo Dressman and three brothers: Gordon Taylor, Jim Taylor and Larry Taylor.

Visitation will be Friday November 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:50 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the funeral home with Father Matt Cushing officiating. Burial will be in the KY Veterans Cemetery (KVC-N) where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Arrival time will be at 1:00 p.m.
