Sergeant Robert “Bobby” Joseph Regensburg, 33, passed away Tuesday April 14, 2026 at his residence. Born on August 31, 1992 in Edgewood, KY, he was the son of William John and Kathryn Estell Herbert Regensburger.

Upon graduating from Pendleton Co. High School in 2020, Bobby enlisted with the United States Marines, where he proudly served from September 7, 2010 until January 17, 2018 and earned the Rank of E5 Sargent where he specialized in Expeditionary Warfare Training.  Along with his many assignments in the military, he was also a Martial Arts Instructor and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Sharpshooter Rifle Qualification Badge. He was currently working with UPS.

Sgt. Regensburger enjoyed the outdoors; he was a much disciplined individual, he faithfully worked out and ran every morning; he loved his Jeep, spending time in woodworking and was a tattoo enthusiast. However, nothing was more important to him than spending time with is boys; he will long be remembered for the “tight’ relationship he had with them.

Those left to carry on his legacy include his parents: Bill and Kathy Regensburger of Dry Ridge, KY, three sons: Charlie Regensburger, Thomas Regensburger, Wyatt Regensburger, all of Williamstown; one daughter, Hazel Regensburger of Crittenden; one brother, Billy (Amberly) Regensburger of Cold Springs and three sisters: Amanda Regensburger of Dry Ridge, Annie (Ryan) Coldwell of Walton and Mary (Derek) Fornash of Dry Ridge.

Visitation will be Monday April 20, 2026 from 10: 00 a.m. till 12 Noon at Stanley Funeral Homes in Williamstown. Funeral services will be begin at 12 Noon with an arrival time of 1:00 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North for his burial, where full Military Honors will be observed.
