Sheridan Sexton Sr. of Corinth, KY was born July 18, 1941 in Frenchburg, KY and died Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his residence at the age of 84.
He was the son of the late Lenord and Virginia Townsend Sexton. He was a retired Master Sargent with the United States Army, as well as being a former truck driver and bus driver with the Grant County Schools. He was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church, a Mason and Shriner. Sheridan was united in marriage to his wife Bridget Maureen Collins Sexton on June 21, 1986.
Surviving is his wife, Bridget Sexton of Corinth; three sons, Joseph Sexton of VA, Sheridan Sexton Jr. of OK, and Joseph Ashcraft of Corinth; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Eva Scoggins of Stanton, KY.
