Staci Darlene Owen

Staci Darlene Owen, 62, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away unexpectedly at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Grant, on Saturday January 10, 2026. Born on June 29, 1963 in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Barbara J. Owen.

Staci had worked in the medical field for many years with St. Elizabeth Physicians. Her life was a life dedicated to community service; for over 12 years she volunteered for Grant County 4-H where she was a part of their Photography Club and for 16 years she served on the Grant County Football Boosters. At a young age she made a profession of faith at Dry Ridge Baptist Church and remained faithful in various ministries of the church. Actively working in the nursery and preschool department and youth group at Dry Ridge Baptist brought her much fulfillment. Additionally, she worked with the youth at Sherman Baptist, but nothing brought her more joy and satisfaction that being a “full-time Grandma” to her granddaughter, Riley. It should also be noted that she was a huge fan of the Oak Ridge Boys; she personally attended many of their concerts.

She leaves to mourn her loss and celebrate her life, one daughter, Ashley Owen and her husband, Michael Callahan; one brother, Steven Owen of Berea; one granddaughter, Riley June Callahan and a special aunt, Barbara Daugherty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie Owen Rose.

Visitation will be Sunday January 18, 2026 from 1:00 till 3:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 with Rev. Willie Ailstock officiating.
