Susan Gail Clayton Adams

Susan Gail Clayton Adams, 66, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at her residence. Born on January 30, 1959 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Delmar Lee and Patsy Louise Webster Clayton.

On March 10, 1984 she was united in marriage to Timothy Ray Adams; he preceded her in death on Saturday March 19, 1988. Susan worked as a Quality Inspector at Fuji Autotech in Walton. After her husband died unexpectedly at an early age, she worked hard to provide for the needs of her children. As pastimes, she enjoyed quilting and traveling and spending time with family, particularly in the mountains, was especially meaningful. She was a 1977 graduate of Williamstown High School.

In addition to her husband, Tim Adams, Susan was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Alan Clayton. She leaves to carry on her legacy, two daughters: Jessica Adams, Cathrine “Catie” Adams; three brothers: Michael (Trina) Clayton, James (Tanya) Clayton, and Brian Douglas (Dawn) Clayton; three sisters: Melissa “Missy” Kretzer, Della Louise Clayton, all of Williamstown and Martha Jane “Marti” Clayton of Dry Ridge, along with two grandchildren: Clayton Stevens and Elias Stevens.

Visitation will be Thursday October 30, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 1:00. Interment will follow in the New Vine Run Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Tim.
