Terry Lee Daugherty, 83, of Demossville, entered into his eternal home on Friday March 20, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Edgewood, KY. Born on August 16, 1942 in Florence, KY; he was a devoted servant of the Lord, a loving father, grandfather, and the husband of Barbara Elaine Workman Daugherty. He will long be remembered for his unwavering faith and love for the Lord.
For 30 years he worked as a truck driver for Budig Trucking, based out of Cincinnati. In 1960 he graduated from the first graduating class of Pendleton County High School. In 1997, he was ordained as a Deacon at Hebron Baptist Church. Most recently, he was attending Grassy Creek Christian Church. Hunting and fishing were among his hobbies, along with working on engines and farming, especially cutting and baling hay. Shooting with his kids and grandchildren brought him much fulfillment.
Terry leaves to carry on his legacy, his wife, Barbara Daugherty, whom he married on July 31, 2017; one son, Travis Ray Daugherty (Tiffany) of Demossville, KY; two daughters: Elizabeth Ann Bard (Robert) of Independence, KY, Blaire Evans Price (Scot) of Cold Springs, KY; one step-son, Klint Bruce (Briana) of Williamstown, KY; one step-daughter, Kasi White (Chad) of New Castle, KY and one sister, Angela Hurt of Alexandria, KY. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Tyler D. Daugherty (Cassidy), Tanner D. Daugherty (Molly), Mackenzie Gomez (Jimmy), Dylan Bard (Allison), along with three great-grandchildren: Baker, Shepherd, Bennett and five step-grandchidren: Lydia White, Ella White, Jonah White, Kruz Bruce and Journee Bean Bruce. Preceding him in death are his parents, Lester and Lucille Turner Hurt Daugherty; one brother, Lyle Daugherty and his step-father, Raymond Lenox Hurt.
Friends and family may gather for visitation at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown on Wednesday March 25, 2026 from 4 – 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday March 26th at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Junior Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Gardnersville Cemetery.
