Theone Lenora Brionez

Theone Lenora Vaughn Brionez was born July 6, 1945 in Leesburg, AL and passed away October 17, 2026 in Dry Ridge, KY at the age of 81.   She was the daughter of the late Alfred Hartwell and Myrtle Odessa Prater Vaughn.

Theone began her working career as a secretary for the Lee Scott Academy and then went on to be a bookkeeper for Exxon Distributors.  She was an active member of the Crittenden Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending her time working with her hands and loved making dresses, quilting and crocheting.

On March 12, 1967 Theone was united in marriage to Candido D. Brionez, Jr.  He preceded her in death in December 2025.  She is survived by her a son: Eric (Kristyn) Brionez of Dry Ridge; two sisters: Sherry Higgins and Marcelle (Vinit) Mahesh; and two grandsons: Thomas Brionez and Tanner Brionez.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Vaughn, and a sister, Martha Rogers.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Crittenden Baptist Church, 215 Russell Dr., Crittenden, KY 41030.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Crittenden Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
