Thomas Lee Baker, Sr.

Thomas Lee Baker, Sr. a Williamstown resident, peacefully passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the age of 82.  

Tom was born in Covington, KY on October 22, 1943 to the late William L. Baker, Sr. and Florence Gatmon Baker.  He was a former machinist as well as a retired truck driver for Owens-Minor.  Tom loved to work on vehicles.  He spent many years at the dragstrip and building drag cars.  He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Tom is survived by two sons, Donald Baker, Thomas Lee Baker, Jr. (Leslie); one daughter, Shirley Phillips (the late Daniel); three brothers, Dennis Baker, Sr., Daniel Baker, Clyde "Pete" Baker; one sister, Dorothy Brown; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and his favorite dog Gypsy.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Wesley Baker; four brothers, William Jr, David, Robert and Michael Baker; two sisters, Stella Wolfinbarger and Rhonda Richardson. 

A celebration of life memorial service will be officiated at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Services will be announced here.  Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home of Williamstown, KY is handling arrangements.
