Virginia Mae Fenn

Virginia Mae "Ginny" Fenn was born Sept. 23, 1952 in Greenville, PA and passed away June 1, 2026 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 73.  She was the daughter of the late William John, Sr. and Arlene Sweitzer Mitchell.  

Ginny was a bartender and waitress for several different restaurants in Pennsylvania.  She enjoyed reading in her younger years and loved watching westerns.  Her greatest fulfillment came from spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Ginny is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Hunter (Dwayne) of Burghill, OH, a son, Jeremy DeArment of Dry Ridge; a brother, Dennis Mitchell of Stuart, FL; a sister, Carol Smith of Berlin Center, OH; two grandchildren, Sheridan and Sophia DeArment. and a special friend, John Campbell.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the nursing staff of St.  Elizabeth Medical Center - Edgewood and St. Elizabeth Hospice Care for all the love and care they have shown during Ginny's illness.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Once those details have been finalized, that information will be provided on this website.
