Walter Earl Clements, 55, of Mt. Olivet, KY died after a lengthy illness at Harrison memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 5, 2025. Born on September 27, 1970 in Covington, KY; he was the son of the late Robert Clayton and Betty Jean Perry Clements.
“Wally”, as he as affectionately called, was a graduate of Scott High School in Taylor Mill, KY., where he excelled in swimming and running cross country. He earned the rank of Life Scout as a Boy Scout. In 1990, being stationed at Fort Polk, LA, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, achieving a Rank of PV2. After fulfilling his three year military service, Wally became a contractor and began a career in the construction field. As a pastime, he enjoyed hunting, camping, caving and being a strong supporter of the Cincinnati Reds; he held membership in the Greater Cincinnati Grotto Club.
Survivors include his fiancé, Michelle Hay of Mt. Olivet, KY; two daughters: Haleigh Hollin of northern Kentucky, Sarah Clements of Richmond, KY; two brothers: James (Sherry) Clements of Covington, KY, Jeff (Bari) Clements of Richmond, KY; four sisters: Sylvia (Adam) Clements-Myres of Warner-Robbins, Ga, Linda (Denny) Jones of Fort Myers, FL, Sandy (Bob) Gillespie of Villa Hills, KY, Darla (Jose) Hernandez of Erlanger, KY, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 12, 2025, from 12 Noon – 12:45 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 12:45 with Bro. Isaac Hardy officiating; burial will follow with Military Honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North; arrival time is scheduled for 2:00.
