Wesley Thomas Cozine of Corinth, Kentucky

Wesley Thomas Cozine , 40, a resident of Corinth, KY, died unexpectedly Wednesday May 22, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Grant. Born in Lexington, KY on Monday October 23, 1978, he was the son of William Brian Cozine and Deborah Susan Jones Cozine.

Wes was a 1997 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, KY. He spent his entire life in the equine industry, chiefly as a self-employed farrier/blacksmith; traveled all over the country shoeing horses. His other interest and hobbies included: baseball, basketball, horseracing and NASCAR.

Survivors include his parents: William Brian (Teressa) Cozine of Paris, KY and his mother: Deborah Cozine of Corinth, KY, his son: Jamey Cozine of Berry, KY and one sister: Laura Gayle Cozine Hall of Goshen, IN.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at McDaniel Funeral Home – Corinth. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and go until the time of the funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the New Columbus Cemetery.
