William "Bill" Edward Webb

Jul 20, 1945 — Aug 21, 2026

Dry Ridge

William “Bill” Webb, 81, of Dry Ridge, KY, entered into his heavenly home on Friday August 21, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Williamstown. Born on July 20, 1945, in Williamstown, KY, he was the son of the late Ira Powell and Myrtle Baker Webb.

Upon graduation from high school, Bill entered the Army Reserves. He spent much of his adult life as a Construction Contractor. Because of his love for his community and his interest in local government, he ran for City Councilman and was elected for two terms for the City of Dry Ridge. In his younger years, he played slow-pitch softball for the Grant Co. Merchants and found much satisfaction in being an avid deer hunter and committed U. K. Basketball fan; he also enjoyed drag racing and playing cards. However, his greatest fulfillment in life came from his love for family, especially being ‘Papaw Bill” to his two loving grandchildren. He was a member of the NRA and the Sherman Church of Christ.

Bill leaves to mourn his passing, his son, Dustin Powell Webb of Crittenden; his brother, Bobby Ray (Lori) Webb of Williamstown; a brother-n-law, Jack Corman and his two endearing grandchildren: Hailey Marie Webb and Liam Ryan Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Joan Carol Corman and Jeanetta Gay Blackburn.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday August 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Williamstown Cemetery.
