William "Bill" Raymond Wilson, Sr.

William “Bill” Raymond Wilson, Sr. , 68, passed away Wednesday March 3, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Edgewood.  Born Wednesday November 5, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late William Robert and Ora B. Wright Wilson.

On April 25, 1987, Bill was united in marriage to the former Marylin Joyce Bowling; she survives.  Bill was a painter by trade, working many years for Drees Homes .  His hobbies included  fishing, riding a motorcycle and cooking, but his greatest enjoyment came from loving his grandkids, who loved him as “Papaw”.

Bill leaves to mourn his loss and cherish his memory, his wife of 34 years; one son: William Raymond Wilson, Jr. of Williamstown; four daughters: Ora “B” (Jason) Hicks of Dry Ridge, Samantha Ann Wilson of Indiana, Amanda Mable Edith Wilson of Williamstown, Denise (Matt) Maxine Wilson of Williamstown; one brother: Charlie (Karen) Wilson of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters: Debbie (Pete) Roy of Corinth, Pam (late Mark) Reiser of Marblehead, OH; three brother-n-laws: Sherman Bowling of Williamstown, Lawrence Bowling of Cincinnati and Timothy Butler of Williamstown.  Sixteen grandchildren also survive, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother: Louis Wilson and a sister: Geraldine Rainey.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday March 10, 2021 at 12 Noon on the Wilson Family Farm.  Services will be followed with Full Military Honors.
