William Gale Vaughn, Sr., 66, of Williamstown, KY, passed away at his residence on Thursday May 21, 2026. Born on September 30, 1959, in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Willie Gene and Alberta Vickers Vaughn.
On April 28, 1989, he was united in marriage to the former Robin Lynne McAllister; she survives. William was the Operations Manager at A1 Electric. Being a very gifted and talented individual, William took on the challenge of building a 1959 Chevy Apache Pickup Truck, from the ground up; this was an achievement that brought him much delight and personal satisfaction. He further reinforced his creativity skills by making and forging a variety of knives. Hunting was also one of his keen passions. He was a graduate of Lloyd Memorial High School and was a Free Mason; he held his membership with Lodge 949 in Florence.
Those left to continue his legacy of creativity and inventiveness is one son: Will Vaughn of Williamstown and two sisters: Vickie (Mike) Hager of Union and Angie Vaughn of Erlanger.
A Celebration of Williams’s Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
