William Hiett "Bill" White

William Hiett “Bill” White III, 81, Williamstown, KY, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born on October 20, 1944 in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Allen Hiett and Josephine Pearl Longworth White.

Bill was an Over the Road (OTR) Truck Driver for many years; he first started with Roadway and retired from USF Holland Trucking. He was a 1965 graduate of Pendleton County High School. Outdoor activities, gardening and cooking were among his favorite pastimes; being a sports fan, he enjoyed football, U.K. Basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 100; he was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading his Bible.

Survivors include three daughters: Amy Mock of Frankfort, Emilee White of Louisville, and Leah Bramlege of Florence; three sons: Steve Foster of Florida, William Hiett White IV of Williamstown, and Larry Blackburn of Walton; and one sister, Shirley Welch of Smith Station, AL. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren: Tyler, Heidi, Peyton, Hiett, Miles, August, Hugo, Erik, Willie, Leslie and Miranda, along with one great-grandson, Axel.

Visitation will be Thursday August 13, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown; funeral services will follow at 1:00. Interment will be in Gardnersville Cemetery.
