Lorie Lee Lightner

Lorie Lee Lightner was born Feb. 14, 1967 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away October 10, 2019 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 52.  She is survived by her parents: Daniel Lightner (Barb) of Florence, KY and Bonnie Wainscott Fite of Erlanger.

Lorie was a homemaker who will be remembered as a loving mother and devoted grandmother.  She adored spending time with her grandchildren watching movies, having snacks and desserts, and doing crafts.  She was also known for her love of dancing and music as well as reading.  Lorie also loved to travel and was always willing to take a road trip with anyone who would give her a ride.  To the beach was always one of her favorite destinations.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by 2 sons: Zachary Winterman and Tyler Winterman both of Independence; 3 daughters: Stefanie Cummins of Williamstown, Brittni Cummins of Hebron, and Kasie Winterman of Walton; 2 brothers: Justin Lightner (Kim) of Hebron and Kyle Lightner (Samantha) of Burlington; 3 sisters: Lesli Fite of Cold Spring, Lisa Lightner of Florence, and Crystal Fite of Florence; and 11 grandchildren: Austin, Devlin, Gavin, Adelaide, Steven, Lou, Jadyn, Brayden, Zander, Colton, Aumia and Everly.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery, Keefer (Corinth), Kentucky.
